The most widely recognized Polish photographer, claimed to be a pioneer in commercial photography, will participate in the 30th edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival. The Ryszard Horowitz. Photocompositions 1969-2022 exhibition will be open to visitors at the Fundacja Tumult headquarters as well as at the Contemporary Art Center Znaki Czasu CSW Toruń starting November 13. The artist will not only present his most important works, but also meet with the festival guests and the residents of Toruń.
The exhbiition will be available at the Contemporary Art Center until November 27, yet you will be able to experience it also at the Tumult Foundation @fundacja.tumult until mid-March 2023.

This year, the exhibition "Painting Tumult 1979-1988. Mülheimer Freiheit" has a chance to become the most significant artistic event at the Center of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toruń. The exhibition accompanying the 30. EnergaCAMERIMAGE Film Festival will be the first in Poland presentation of works by the group of German neo-expressionists being active in Cologne in the first half of the 1980s. Shoot a short film in one day at EnergaCAMERIMAGE

Shoot a short film in one day at EnergaCAMERIMAGE with an ARRI camera and win a trip to ARRI headquarters in Munich 💙💙💙

@arri_rental is happy to announce the return of the “Shoot a film in one day” short film competition. If you are a film student registered at the 2022 EnergaCamerimage Festival, you are invited to enter the draw for ARRI Rental’s short film competition.

👉 The concept
Five students will be selected at random to participate. Each will be given an ARRI camera and lens kit for one day during the festival, with which they must shoot all the footage they need for a short film of between one and five minutes. Participants should not work alone – a team of at least two people is required to operate the equipment safely.

👉 The rules
Your film must be on the theme of PEACE. It’s up to you how you interpret that brief, but please keep it to a PG-15 rating. No gratuitous violence, nudity, etc. – we want to share the winning film on our social media channels.

Completed films need to be submitted to ARRI Rental by December 30, 2022. Whether or not you incorporate sound is up to you, but we cannot supply any audio equipment.

If you use music, please ensure that you’re not infringing copyright.The winning entry will be announced in February 2023.

👉 The prize
The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Munich, including a night in a hotel and a tour of the ARRI headquarters, where the cameras are actually built. You’ll visit the ARRI museum and the production lines. Afterwards you will be taken on a tour of the ARRI Rental facilities in Ismaning and treated to lunch with the ARRI Rental team.
