On Saturday evening, the BSC Awards ceremony took place, during which the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) honored the best visual productions of 2024.
The official 69th annual BSC Awards gala was held on February 1, 2025, at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. In the Best Cinematography in a Feature Film category, Lol Crawley BSC won for his cinematography in The Brutalist (A24). This was his first nomination and win in this category. It is also worth noting that Lol Crawley received the Silver Frog at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2024 festival in the Main Competition, further highlighting the exceptional recognition of his cinematographic work.

The Operators Award, jointly presented by the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC), the Association of Camera Operators (ACO), and the Guild of British Camera Technicians (GBCT), was awarded to Karsten Bloch Jacobsen DFF and Simon Finney ACO Assoc BSC for their camera work on Wicked (Universal Pictures).
