The NANLUX Evoke 2400B LED light represents a remarkable achievement in the field, standing out amidst a crowded market of high-output COB spotlights that tend to be bulky and power-hungry. One of its standout features is its unique ability to operate efficiently from a household mains circuit. This allows it to deliver maximum output while maintaining a durable body with the smallest possible footprint and low weight.

What truly sets the Evoke 2400B apart is its technical prowess. Firstly, it can run from a household socket while outputting the maximum amount of light achievable. This not only maximizes efficiency but also aligns with environmental concerns, particularly regarding carbon emissions during production.

Secondly, it utilizes a cutting-edge four white emitter configuration, enabling a wide color temperature range 2700-6500K and adjustable Green/Magenta +/-80 settings. Unlike traditional LED spotlights, the Evoke 2400B achieves this without compromising efficiency by using a groundbreaking configuration of Greenish Warm White, Magenta-ish Warm White, Greenish Cool White, and Magenta-ish Cool White emitters. This results in a broader Green/Magenta shift with higher efficiency.

Lastly, the Evoke 2400B boasts a magnesium alloy housing instead of traditional steel or aluminum. This material, akin to what's used in professional camera bodies, offers the necessary strength for on-set use while remaining lightweight enough for single-person handling and rigging.

Combining these innovations, the Evoke 2400B delivers efficient, adjustable lighting that's easily portable. Those who have experienced rigging it can attest to its manageability compared to lights with similar output. In essence, it has carved out its own category of LED lights, one that's more practical and efficient than any competitor—a significant advantage in today’s production landscape.

He praised the Evoke 2400B, which he used on set for a promo shot in England for Nanlux. It’s astronomical how much power you can get, but since it only draws 20 amps each, it’s manageable. That makes a huge difference when you are shooting on an epic scale.

After testing the Evoke 2400B, it would have replaced our key light, our sun. We were doing a lot of exterior work, which called for a fair amount of light. We needed a nice single source sun to eliminate double shadows. In most instances, you can gang lights together as a softer light, but if you really want hard shadows from a single source, the Evoke 2400B is the perfect solution.
The reason why the Evoke 2400 is a classic light in a package is that you have a white light source which pulls less that 20 amps but is essentially a 10K output. It’s ten times more efficient than a tungsten light.

Sam Nicholson, ASC

With this new LED spotlight, the Evoke 2400B bi-colour, that Nanlux has, I don’t have to worry about balancing the light to 5600 because it can be anywhere from 6500 all the way to 2700 degrees. The biggest pluses are that Nanlux lights save time and money, and that’s huge within our industry.

Shane Hurlbut, ASC

NANLUX equipment gives me great comfort of working on set, as it has never disappointed me and gives me variety of interesting lighting option.
