A common insurance salesman, Truman Burbank doesn’t realize that his quaint hometown, with all its folks living and working there, is a giant studio set run by a visionary creator, and his entire life is actually a popular TV show. Even his incessantly bubbly wife is a contracted actor in the show. In the end, however, Truman learns the truth.
