Set on a busy street, the film shows a robbery committed by a pickpocket, followed by a chase after the thief. Noteworthy is the poetics associated with the New Wave, based on long tracking shots showing street life. The film’s cinematographer was Adam Holender, who moved to the United States a few years later.
