Talent Demo Showcase is a film review of films that were finished with a contribution of Talent Demo consultations. Each year, young filmmakers submit their projects to the program in order to seek advice from professionals and we make their meeting possible. This non-competitive section features standout films that came to life during our Talent Demo consultations or were discussed during the meetings. Through Talent Demo Showcase, we want to give these projects a chance to be appreciated by the audience of ToruńCAMERIMAGE.

A portrait filmed in 16 mm of the loneliness and helplessness of an adult woman who continues to search for her place in the world while dealing with absence and the ghosts of loss that she holds on to tightly.

From that point on, immersed in a sea of doubts, Gala begins to feel torn between two very different worlds: her best friend and her new companions.

Observing those who preserve these traditions, Postum moves between solemnity and everyday life, where grief coexists with laughter and remembrance becomes a communal act. Through gestures, faces and spaces shaped by repetition, the film reflects on a simple idea: a person remains alive for as long as someone remembers them.

When Anya tries to leave, he stops her, and for a brief moment they fall back into a familiar intimacy, despite everything that now stands between them.
