17 films screened at EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2025 with 60 nominations for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards

We are delighted to announce that the productions presented during the 33rd edition of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival have once again confirmed their strong position in world cinema. As many as 17 titles screened this year in Toruń received a total of 60 nominations for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, one of the most prestigious honors in the film industry.

The greatest recognition went to films competing in the Main Competition and to productions showcased in the Special Screenings section. Among the nomination leaders were “One Battle After Another” (9 nominations), “Sentimental Value” (8), and “Sinners” (7).

Main Competition

Films from the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Main Competition are strongly represented among the nominees. “Hamnet” received 6 nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, directing, and screenplay, as well as acting nominations for Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.
“Sinners” earned 7 nominations, including Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, acting recognition for Michael B. Jordan, and Original Score by Ludwig Göransson.
Nominations were also received by “F1: The Movie” and “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”.

Director’s Debut Competition

In this section, the film “If I Had Legs I'd Kick You” was distinguished, earning Rose Byrne a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

Television Series Competition

Television productions presented at the festival were also recognized. “Severance” received 4 nominations, including Best Television Series – Drama, while “Adolescence” earned as many as 5 nominations across acting and program categories. The series “The Studio” and “Monster: The Ed Gein Story” were also honored.

Special Screenings

Films from the Special Screenings section received the highest number of nominations overall. “One Battle After Another” garnered an impressive 9 nominations, including acting and music categories. “Sentimental Value” received 8 nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language.
Additional recognition went to “Frankenstein,” “Train Dreams,” and “Sorry, Baby.”

Art Experiments and Closing Film

In the Art Experiments: Non Finito section, the film “Bugonia” received 3 nominations, including acting nominations for Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons.
Meanwhile, the festival’s closing film, “Song Sung Blue,” earned Kate Hudson a nomination for her role in a Musical or Comedy.

We are extremely proud of the success of the films and filmmakers who presented their work at EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2025. Such an impressive number of Golden Globe nominations confirms the festival’s status as a meeting place for world cinema at the highest level.
