It seems that Basia has everything she could wish for. She runs the household, has a loving husband and two wonderful children, and despite having completed her studies, finds fulfilment in family life. One day, an opera diva moves into the flat upstairs and captivates Basia with her voice. A friendship develops between the two women, gradually blossoming into feelings that come as a surprise to them both.
