From producer-writer-director comes Tár, starring Cate Blanchett as the iconic musician Lydia Tár. Tár examines the changing nature of power, its impact and durability in our modern world. Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer/conductors and first-ever female chief conductor of a major German orchestra. The film also features Mark Strong (1917, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). The film is directed by three Oscars® nominee Todd Field (Little Children, In the Bedroom).
