Exhibitions

MIKE FIGGIS' PHOTOGRAPHY "WORK IN PROGRESS"

The famous British film director, nominated for an Oscar for the film Leaving Las Vegas, surprised the Camerimage audience. On the lowest level of the Festival Center he organized the "Work in progress" exhibition. Initially, the artist gradually filled the empty walls with photos documenting the Festival: portraits of the organizers, audience staff and honored guests, as well as pictures of places where spontaneous festival life took place.

OSKAR KIHLBORG'S "VOLVO OCEAN RACE"

The official photographer of the largest yacht race around the world symbolically presented to the festival audience what this around-the-earth race really is. The photos showed the Swedish crew of the SEB yacht, accompanied by Oskar during the 2001-2002 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race, and the sailors' struggles during the Volvo Baltic Race 2004. They showed both the peace of the endless ocean space, as well as the fight, great emotions and competition until the last meter before the finish line. The exhibition was organized by Volvo Auto Polska.
