PRESENTATION: Synapse Stage™ - Veles: The World on the Wall, the Light on the Face

A demonstration in two parts: from an LED wall that shows the world to a studio where the wall sets the light.
1. Virtual production: architecture and world-building (Jose Barbella, Janusz Bocian). How to design a virtual location that behaves like a real one on an LED wall: world architecture in Unreal Engine, scale, parallax and background light captured in camera. Live on stage, we take the set from a big-city street to the surface of an alien planet without leaving the studio, and show what has to be prepared before the crew walks on set.
2. Synapse Stage: the intelligent studio (Artur Paprocki). Studio automation and working with AI models. The LED wall, studio lighting and AI agents run as one system driven by the director’s commands. The wall sets the direction and colour of the light on the actor’s face, while models build the set and the costume after the shoot. The face, the performance and the light stay from the set.
